It's hard to believe that someone wears an outfit like this out as if it's normal. I definitely don't mean to sound like I'm patronizing her - she's lovely. As soon as I saw this photo I instantly imagined her on the set of a 1940s film.....except this is 2009 and well, I can only begin to imagine what people in DC would do if they saw this beautiful woman decked out in these clothes. Stereotype of the day: Washingtonians may be capable of being imaginative about policy or politics (although even THAT's debatable) but accepting fashion statements like this, well, that's not really our cup of tea.
